PowerOptions Membership
Benefits of PowerOptions membership include access to the electricity and natural gas contracts negotiated on your behalf, a monthly membership newsletter, regular communication on a variety of topics, advocacy with regulatory and utility entities, and ongoing access to the PowerOptions staff and consultants for assistance with all your energy needs.
Members are represented by an Institutional Advisory Council which provides oversight and advice on all aspects of the program. The high level of service provided by both the PowerOptions staff and our team of energy and legal consultants has been well received by members.
To become a PowerOptions member, an institution needs to submit a Membership Application form. Members agree to appoint a senior level contact person, and sign a release authorizing PowerOptions to collect information on your energy usage. Only members may review our exclusive contracts for energy supply, but members are not obligated to sign an energy contract.
There is an annual fee for participation in the PowerOptions program. The fee is based upon your institutions annual electricity usage.
