Who are our Members?

Our members are nonprofits. Over 500 small/mid-sized and large organizations from across the Commonwealth look to us for our experience, insight, information and resources. As your energy partner, we simplify the energy buying process by focusing on energy costs, energy use and current energy trends. With PowerOptions® as your energy partner, you are free to concentrate on managing other key parts of your business.

Small and mid-sized organizations
PowerOptions’ energy supply contracts enable our members to take advantage of group buying power and prices that are normally available only to larger customers. PowerOptions' programs provides budget certainty, dependable supply and strong financial protections.

In addition to helping large nonprofit organizations achieve cost savings on their energy bills, PowerOptions assists with benchmarking, energy budgeting, cost savings analyses, bill tracking and energy use forecasting. Larger members (1 MW or greater) may take advantage of PowerOptions sophisticated pricing options, including buying directly from the wholesale market.
