PeakResponse

PeakResponse, our Demand Response Program launched in 2010, is an exciting opportunity for customers to both save money on their electricity use and reduce usage overall. When organizations opt for PeakResponse, they agree to curtail a portion of their energy use during periods of peak demand on the system—typically only a small number of hours during the year. In return, the system operator will pay them for that reduced energy consumption.

As part of the program, your institution receives a free survey of its energy systems and simple recommendations on how to reduce your load. These simple tips can sometimes be all that is needed to reduce energy consumption during periods of peak demand.

The advantages are three-fold. You save money, make money and help the environment.
