Notice of Request for Proposals for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment:
PowerOptions® is the largest energy buying consortium in New England, with more than 400 members and annual energy commodity purchases of $160-200 million. Comprised of non-profits and governmental organizations throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, PowerOptions members include hospitals, colleges and universities, cities and towns, public school districts, museums, housing authorities, community and religious organizations, among many others. A non-profit working on behalf of other non-profits for more than 20 years, PowerOptions’ mission is founded on one simple premise: to bring energy predictability, dependability, and cost savings to its members.
PowerOptions’ model has proven successful for both members and suppliers to the programs. The model consists of competitive pricing and pre-negotiated agreements presented to PowerOptions members for participation on an opt-in basis. PowerOptions partners with suppliers to develop and market programs, resulting in 90% member participation in one or more programs.
